Gareth Amon is the Founder and CEO of Recycling Quotes, a national business recycling consulting and procurement company dedicated to helping organizations reduce waste and improve sustainability.
Gareth's entrepreneurial journey began in 2005 while pursuing a Ph.D. in Economics. During graduate school, he founded a metal and electronics recycling company, discovering a passion for building businesses and creating practical environmental solutions. To dedicate more time to entrepreneurship, he completed a Master's degree in Economics and transitioned his full focus to growing his companies.
After selling the metal scrap division of his business in San Diego, California, Gareth focused on RecyclingQuotes.com, with the vision of making commercial recycling services more accessible to businesses across the United States.
Over the past two decades, Gareth has helped thousands of businesses responsibly recycle millions of pounds of materials, including electronics, metals, paper, plastics, pallets, textiles, and other commercial waste streams. His work has helped companies improve operational efficiency while reducing their environmental impact.
