How to Recycle Sharp Medical Waste

Sharp waste is a type of medical waste. As it names clarifies, it deals with the sharp instruments used in the medical profession. Instruments like syringes, needles, knives, razors, scalpels, and scissors.
When collecting sharp waste for recycling, you do not have to pull out the needles from the plastic injectors. Sharp waste includes the whole product or anything attached to the sharp parts.
Some unusual items considered as sharp waste materials are glass or plastic slides, pipettes, test tubes, and other medical items that come in contact with hazardous materials.
Be careful when handling sharp waste, try to put them in containers or plastic bags that are not easily punctured. You do not have to worry about trying to clean the items before recycling them.
